Many of you know that I left a full-time corporate job last year to do my own startup and projects. And as you can imagine, year 1 of working for yourself often leaves you a little, ahem, cash-challenged. And just when I was having a sort of crappy-news, rainy-Wednesday, sulk-in-my-tea sort of day, I got an order for a photograph. To many pro’s, that’s nothing. But photography is a part-time gig for me and I haven’t sold myself or my work at all this year opting to focus on my new community site, Thankfulfor.
This is awesome. Because it reminded me that if I actually tell people they can buy my work, they just might. And I also have a photography book coming out that I need to sell.
So, that’s my confession and here’s my announcement.
